This is an example of a Straight Line Map developed by Lillian Huffaker in 1933 for use with the Ticonometer. It covers US Rt. 99 from Mexicali to Tacoma showing the route, side trips, places of interest and Lillan’s favorite watering holes.
Lillian also developed maps for US 101, US 66, and mountain and desert tours in Southern California. Lillian’s company, Time Controlled Indicators, was on Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles and she developed maps mainly for the local So. Calif regions.
You need to expand this map to see the details, The map can be printed but will require sprocket holes along the edges to be used in a Ticonometer.
